Game Recap In News Listing

Another, "Not sure if it's a bug or not", after each of my games the game recap (which I love by the way) shows up in the listing for league news. Seems that shouldn't be happening, or at least it should happen for every team and not just my games. thoughts?

In your manager settings, you can choose to receive game recaps for your team or no teams at all. I don't think the option exists to receive game recaps for all teams.

I already unchecked it. It's not my mail, it's that my game recap is showing up in the League News Listing, and nobody elses games are.

OK, now I understand. News stories will still appear there (e.g., milestones, 5-hit games, shutouts, etc.). Just like in old versions. The difference is that game recaps will "borrow" these news articles in lieu of creating a brand new recap. So, you'll see the same article/recap in the box score and the news listing. It is a bit confusing.

I don't think you're understanding. Only MY teams recaps shows up in the LEAGUE news listing. No other games get a recap in the LEAGUE news listing unless something special happened in them (ie - shutout, 5 hits, etc.)

There was nothing special about my game, but it showed up in the listing. Why didn't the recap for the Brewers/Diamondbacks game show up if mine does.

I'm just saying I don't care for the human controlled teams game recap showing up in the MLB, or LEAGUE, news listing. If this is a bug, hopefully it gets fixed, if not, then I guess I'll have to live with it.

If you want every team's game to have a recap, then you go to Global setting and change generate Game Recaps setting to Human Leagues

Your game showed up because it was a shutout. Shutouts show up regardless of whether it was your team or another team. Do all of your team's recaps show up in the league news listing?

Sorry, that's where the miscommunication is. My games aren't the doug fister game. My team is the tigers. Sorry.

I don't really want all the game recaps to show up, I would rather there not be any in the League News Listing. Only Special Games get the recaps, I like reading mine after the game, but I don't think it's realistic that every Tiger game (that's my team) shows up in the League News Listing, and no other team does.

Ah, OK. Well, that is strange. Unless someone else has an idea, you may want to report the issue in the Bug Reports thread. Thanks!

Check your news subscription settings and disable the Team Game Recaps option there. This should take care of it. If not, please post in the bug reports forum.

Yeah, it's unchecked. I put it up in the Bug Reports
