Game save is not loading, .DAT files reading 0KB in size
Hello,
I submitted a ticket, but I figured I would ask here in case anyone is aware of a solution to this problem... but I have a bad feeling my data is corrupt and my game unrecoverable. I have been playing FHM2 without an issue, but when I loaded my game today it appears something has gone wrong. I closed it around 2AM last night (2/14) and it appeared to save properly. When it loads now, it hangs for a few minutes on "Load Leagues" and then the game crashes on "Load Face Data". I compared the contents of a different save folder with this one and most of the .DAT files show as 0KB, and the few that have any size are MUCH smaller compared to the same files from a different (and shorter) save. Also, the date modified time of the files show 3PM, however I saved it at 2AM. Is there any way to salvage this game? I hope its not lost. Thanks |

Well, prevent it, at least - I don't think it's going to fix the files if they're showing sizes of 0, that's likely corrupted beyond repair. But if we can have a look at the save, we may be able to get some useful data about what went wrong to keep it from happening in the future, though, if it's not a hardware/memory issue.
