Taking his time
Anderson is the only big money free agent I am pursuing, I've gone out and gotten a lot of young up and coming talent for my Phillies franchise, but Anderson is really taking his time for it being February, but a lot of other teams are after him to...I had to offer more to get him to reconsider....My problem is I am giving him about 5.5 million for the first year of a three year proposal, wit years two and three going for about 15.5 million. My wonder dies, and his son took over who is much more about money and less about winning, so I will be doing this with a much lower budget....at least I will be able to get rid of Howard and Ruiz next offseason.

One should never lose their sense of wonder, but I'm glad yours had a child to take over.

At least he's about something. For the last few years the Phillies have been about losing and spending money.
I wonder if they'll be able to turn it around when they can dump all these contracts. |

Brett Anderson and "big money free agent" should never be used in the same sentence.
