Players handling success, failure, and critics

Can we get some more insight to this? I understand the ratings for the most part, but are there any clues to how a player handles success or failure?

For example, say i have a player with a high handle failure rating. I could interpret that as the player loves to be challenged. But how do I know this?

Bottom line, we need a better way of knowing our players.
