Historical Sim Started in Actual 2009

As the title reads, we started our historical league in 2010 (real time), using the year 1961 as our first season. We've upgraded from OOTP 11 to 16 through a few versions.

My issue is that we've reached 1993, and Alex Rodriguez is part of the amateur draft. When I check his "real life stats" they only go up to 2009.

Does this mean our historical league ends in 2009 and we'll have to go with fictional from there? Or is there a way to get our rosters to continue up to 2016/2017 (depending on how soon we reach the present day)?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like the database path is from OOTP 10 vs 16. Go to Historical and copy the html from the OOTP 16 stats folder to the database path line and see if it changes.

When Alex was created his stats only went through 2009. Real stats do not update with new versions after the player has been created. If you imported a new Alex using OOTP16 his real stats would run through 2014.

That's not the issue. I probably wasn't clear, sorry. Alex was just created in the amateur draft a few days ago in 16. The reason I bring him up is he's the first player I know that played beyond 2009 who doesn't have stats foe those years.

As long as you are using the OOTP16 stats folder as the default this should not happen.

The path should be pointing to your OOTP16 folders to get players from the current database. I suspect that your path never updated as you migrated your league forward through the various versions. If so, you just want to change "11" to "16" and it should work.

Looks like that worked for players in the next draft (i.e, Derek Jeter)

I guess there's no way to fix A-Rod, but he's only one player.
