Contract logic needs improvement. Anyone who declines a QO should value themselves at above the QO amount, so shouldn't sign a minor league deal.

Everything I have to say about league evolution is something I've already said. The past four years have been a learning experience for all of us.

I have mentioned in the past I have offered players minor league deals with or without option for may 1st call up. They refuse the AAA offer and sign with an indy team for around 10 grand a year.
Is it because the minor league deals don't show an actual monetary amount and the indy leagues do? I can't imagine any real player turning down a a chance to play with a MLB organization in AAA or AA for the L.I Ducks. |
