Schedule suggestions

I would like a check box and/or settings for the following automatic schedules. These would greatly enhance the ability to make certain custom leagues and the realism of many feeder leagues. First an option to schedule a max number of games a week so teams dont play almost every day. Second an option to schedule games only on say weekends or on specific days. Lastly the option to only have day games or have all games start at the same time. Further more it would be nice to have a playoff option where you can set that playoff series for a certain round always start on a certain day for weekend only leagues.

Although a nice request, it would be next to impossible to create a schedule generator that does all those things. Even irl the MLB schedule is so difficult it's created manually. A computer can't do it, so I don't think OOTP will be able to either.

For your playoff games. Once the season is over and playoffs begin you can go to league setup and edit the playoff schedule manually.

Edit - forgot to mention, not sure if you're aware, but there are a lot of custom made schedules available in the MODS Section of the forums. http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...dule-list.html

I understand what youre saying that there no way that OOTP could realistically make supper complex schedules but there is a not reason the schedule creator cant say dont schedule games on day 1-4, 8-11, etc., Nor is there a reason it cant say only schedule games in 4 out of 7 days, and equalizing game times is trivial. Often the schedule creator makes a round-robin repeating schedule. Which is fine just have it set games on certain days instead of 6-9 games in a row then an off day and repeat.
