Retro-active DL

I could not find this answer in a past thread so here it is. I had my second baseman go down with a day to day injury for 5 days. With 1 day left he suffered a setback for another 5 days. If I were to place him on the DL would it be retroactive to the last game he actually appeared in (like real life) or would it start from the current day?

We have a big series coming up and I would like a full available roster to work with.

IIRC, it's retroactive to the last day he actually appeared in a game (or maybe the day after). So if he hasn't played since the initial 5-day injury, it'd be retroactive to when that was suffered.

Yes, in real life it is retroactive the the day after the last game the player appeared in. I am just wondering if that is the case in game as well. I would hate to lose him for 15 days if it is not retro active versus the 10 if it is. Our big series falls within those 5 games in question.

Yes it is retroactive in the game as well. Very important for those pending injuries that pop up for a while.

It use to be in game that it was not, but that was a big change for the better! I find it to be careful with your day to day guys. If you use them and they get hurt then you lose some of the injury time.
Next I would like to see them fix the rehab assignments to occur during the DL time like in real life.
