A simple step-by-step on setting up fictional league with real players?

Hi all,

I am very frustrated and ask for your help.

Here is what I would like to do:

I want to establish a ten-team "Florida League" comprised of cities in the state.

I want the teams to have REAL players, whom I have listed in a CSV file that I have saved.

If I set-up the league, HOW do I then use the REAL players instead of fictional ones? If I need to start with an historical league, what do I then do?

Please WALK me through the process, step-by-step . . . I am a 55-year old who had a stroke . . . I am not as sharp as I was 30-40 years ago . . .

But I AM terribly frustrated . . . TIA
