Post Historical League Setup and Questions

I am setting up my historical league starting in 1901 and need some help with some files and suggestions. I had a historical league with OOTP3 and ran it to about 1922, but when I bought a new computer I had some problems transferring files and lost most everything. So any help with the following would be appreciated:
1. Old Logo's for original major league teams.
2. Wasn't there a file with a history of every major league trade somewhere?
3. Outfield position file.
4. Financial's. Now this is something that I don't think has been addressed. How can you set up the financial system in the 1910s to 1940s, etc... What were the average salaries? Average ticket cost?, etc.... Has anyone found a way to use the financial system during this time? How do you deal with the free agent system, during the early years? I never found a good way to do this so I just turned the financial's off.

Also, I'm a Cardinals fan and I know there are several others here. I'm reading a great book on the history of baseball in St. Louis called " The Spirit of St. Louis-A History of the St. Louis Cardinals and Browns" by Peter Golenbock. It's a great history and has some hilarious stories about many of the early characters such as Branch Rickey, Rogers Hornsby, and Frankie Frisch.

1. You can find these at the wonderful Historically OOTP site, http:/www.sportplanet.com/sbb/hootp, I believe.
2. Possibly, if I want a major trade to take place, I use the baseball encyclopedia new revised millenium edition.
3. The new Lahman DB contains these. Maybe OOTP will handle that in their first import.
4. Just turn financials off, there was no true free agency back then, only player sales and the like.

Cool

SkinnyD,
As far as financials, I've two league now through 50+ years and turned them off until about 1968 - then turned them on - worked fine

Blind Jerry,

Does the baseball encyclopedia new revised millenium edition list trade dates for players before 1900?
