Mound Visit
Does anyone use mound visit to calm a pitcher down? I used to only use it to stall and get my bullpen guys warmed up, but I've started to use it lately when my pitcher appears to be getting in a jam. Not sure if it is doing any good though. Seems to help, sometimes.

Sometimes, especially early in the game and if a big inning seems like a possibility.

I use it.
I don't use it calm the guy down, per se. I see it as a warning that he is getting on my last nerve. In a minute some bullpen schlep is gonna mop up his mess.

Does it still work that way in '17? I would play '15 and visiting the mound would take a pitcher I placed in the bullpen from Cold to Warming Up. In '17, the pitcher in the bullpen remains Cold, the mound visit not seeming to have an effect.
