Creating my own fictional league....

I am starting it in 1945 and I have selected 1945 for the imported financials. I am hoping that as the game progresses through the decades, the financial system will update and reflect this. Is this correct?

I only ask as there is another option on another page to tick which says "import adjusted financial settings after each year".

Do I need to tick this aswell?
