Sound of a hit missing?

Just wondering if anyone has experienced this. All the sounds of the game are fine, but I cannot hear the sound of a hit or the ball entering the catcher's glove.

This has never happened before in this game, but I reinstalled the game and this happened. It is year 5 of my fictional league.

I am gonna restart my computer and try again. Maybe I have reinstall the game again.

Before you reinstall, maybe you could switch to some of the other sound options. Then switch back to the original. It worked for me when I had a sound problem once. Not sure if it'll help, but maybe.
