When I click in-game "buy OOTP16" it will not let me connect to the website. Is there another way I can pay for the game?

Definitely will get. But deciding whether to get it through Steam or the OOTP website.

Which route gives more revenue to the developers?
Also, if I get the Steam version, do I need to be connected to the Internet to be able to play the game?

Buying through our website is preferred if you don't have a preference either way

just to respond to the end of your post. No you can play it offline mode through steam.

I bought MLB Manager for the IPAD and tablet and I enjoy it, but miss some of the extra features the CD version provides, therefore I will definitely be taking advantage of this offer.
