If you're new to the game as I am, you might want to check out a pretty good wikipedia article called "Major League Baseball transactions". It explains all the actions you can take with your players.

I still can't figure out how to do a revokable waiver in OOTP. Whenever I try with a player with options left, it never works.

Not a complaint with the game, but rather with my own stupidity.
