SP recorded an out without throwing a pitch

Must be a bug. He should be credited with one pitch. See screenshot's below.

Definitely a bug. A small one. The box score apparently doesn't record a pitch thrown on an injury. In this case the first pitch of the game.

Go ahead and report it. It's not a big one but developers are receptive to fixing things.

Oh, and nice catch.

Infractions: 0/1 (1)
I saw a pitcher record an out in a Rockies game once without throwing a pitch. Came in to relieve with two outs and the bases loaded and picked the runner off of first and then tagged him out in the resulting rundown. He got an out AND a win, all without throwing a pitch.

According to OOTP itself, OOTP MLB play (modern and historical) outnumbers OOTP fictional play three to one.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.

I think that's happened in a Jays game this year. Gotta check.
