Owner Demands

Just completed the 2015 season as (a very different looking Cleveland. Finished the #1 seed in the AL. My owner died the last week of the season. His son made all new demands that I could not even begin to work on until the following season. I won the World Series in 7. Owner is pissed as hell that I didn't listen to his demands. Maybe you could recode this so the new owner does not make demands until the next season? Ungrateful bastard.

A very valid point and request.

Keep in mind this is the first version of a new feature. The developers have acknowledged the challenges and flaws as it is currently presented. You can safely expect continued improvements from year to year.

Because of the nature of the feature (AI's reality/expectations vs the human's) that this topic will always be talked about.

Your issue is a legit complaint and is worth noting.

Wait, you could tell from the news story on the previous owner passing that his son taking over the business was born out of wedlock!? It is details like that, that makes this game so immersive.


Edit: and yes, I agree. This should be fixed.

Just finished my first season. Took the Tigers to the World Series where I lost in 6. Owner gets on me because I didn't get a local player. Shouldn't winning be far more important. I went to the World Series! I don't see any talent from Michigan worthy of being on the roster. What does he want me to do, cut Miguel Cabrera and bring some one star player just because he's local?
Now my goal for next year is to upgrade at SS. I've got Jose Iglesias who's 5 stars and won the gold glove. How do I upgrade that?
I like the idea of the owner dying. Maybe next year the game could include the ability to kill your owner and manage your team from prison.
