Mysql reader question
I read that mysql is the most popular database so I went to my almanac settings and chose to do a yearly mysql dump. I thought I could download one simple program and read these files...nope. I have no knowledge of mysql or any other database program, but all I want to do is export my box scores and game logs to something i can read and save for future research. Preferably something as small as possible. What's the simplest way to do this? Sorry I'm so inept at this, but i'd really like some help so I can download and read these files.

whoops, should have read through that all. i'll leave this info just in case. i don't know if heidi can create reports or not. either way, there is probably an easier solution to what you want to accomplish.
look for a program called heidi sql. i think it's free. it will be easier than using the command prompt. there will be a learning curve. make a backup before playing around. db's are fun, enjoy! Last edited by NoOne; 06-18-2015 at 08:48 PM. |
