Suggestions for OOTP 17 from a long time OOTP Veteran

I've played OOTP since version 5 and I am always amazed at how real things get. With that being said, here are a few tweaks / additions I'd like to see in future versions.

MANAGER MODE TWEAKS
I've really enjoyed this mode so far and I'm almost through my first year as manager of the Cubs. The biggest thing I think the mode is missing is communication with the GM and I would suggest the following.

1. Sliders that dictate roster preferences based on how you like your team to be constructed. This would include things like # of relievers, types of hitters at each position, etc. Nothing major, but at least some feedback to the GM as to a grocery list of what you're looking for.

2. Ability to submit requests to the GM. This would work just as if you were the GM, but you would then click submit and it would send off a request to the GM to make it known what you wanted. This would have come in very handy for me this year when my pen was gassed and I needed fresh arms. I would have liked to request this.

3. Ability to give feedback to GM on potential moves. It would be nice for my GM to ask my thoughts on a potential move. Had he done that, we might not have traded a top prospect to acquire aging OF, Carlos Quentin.

OTHER TWEAKS

1. Daily Minor League E-mail - This would send you daily reports of top performers in your system from the day before as well as the results of the minor league games.

2. Ability to offer a contract no matter what the player's interest in testing FA is. - If I want to offer $100 mil a year, I should have the ability to at least float that carrot out there.

3. Stats for the international complex

4. 10 day lineups - This is for the online league community

And if possible, a franchise-wide standard for all affiliates that sets the number of relievers, types of hitters at each position, etc.

The minor league email update is a great idea.

Definitely like both of these ideas.

great ideas. I especially like the complex stats and the ability to make an offer to a pending FA. I see a player that wants to test FA like an impossible draftee. They will sign, if you make a great offer.
