TotalMinors For OOTP5: Beta Version Released

Hey all,

As some of you know, I developed the rosters released with OOTP5. Now that the game is out, I can release the real names companion roster file. This includes each team's top 10 prospects as per Baseball America, plus several other minor leaguers as well as every player in the majors last year. Each team has between 40-55 players at this point with more to come.

This also includes the real 2003 schedule, as created by Rolen17.

Please read the ReadMe file as I go into more detail there.

I will post in more detail tonight, but my son was born Feb. 25 and I need to get to the hospital to see him

I am very pleased with this, and I hope you will be too. Please enjoy, play ball, and have fun.

Again, please note this is a BETA version just to get you started. There's much more coming (like I said, read the ReadMe).

Hey GForce, since you were a beta tester, you should know this. I started manager mode and then installed your rosters (and the park config file from ootp4) and now when i go back in, Im no longer controlling any team and i(as a manager) no longer exist. Any ideas/
again thanks for the work youve put into the rosters

TigerFan's Face Pack for this is available at my site. I'll also have the rosters up on my site later today. Oh yeah if the site doesn't load for ya, check back later. My host is seeming to have a couple problems.

Follow these steps.

1. Copy the GForce files into your create directory.
2. Create a New Standard League without using Manager Mode.
3. Once the League is created, make all neccessary changes you want to make to the league.
4. Goto League...New Manager Career

You should be ready to go.

I copied all the files into the create league and created a new game. I got all the rosters, and the new schedule, but the game date is 4/1. There are a few games before April 1, and the game won't let me sim them. Is this going to cause a problem at the end of the season? I can't see this being a good thing. Anyone know what files not to copy over to prevent this problem? I tried restoring my old schedule.dat, but I got the same problem.

Ok what you need to do is go to the schedule edit screen from league setup and change the date at the bottom from 4/1 to 3/25 for the first day of hte league. Also change the date of the All Star game from 7/4 to 7/15. This may initially give you two all star games on 7/15 so you will need to delete one of them.

Congratulations on your son. I had one of my own on January 18th and he's a bundle of joy! A demanding bundle of joy, but definitely the best thing that's ever happened to me!

FYI, the minor league team names and manager name for all the teams is blank. I know this is just a beta, but I thought I would mention it. Thanks for all your effort.

Congratulations Mr. Force! Enjoy that little fella. Pretty soon he'll be two years old and tearing around the house talking about how he wants to go to the baseball house like my little guy. The "baseball house" is the minor league ballpark where we live, home of the Rangers AA affiliate, the Frisco RoughRiders (www.ridersbaseball.com - check out the bullpens!)

I got all the rosters, and the new schedule, but the game date is 4/1. There are a few games before April 1, and the game won't let me sim them. Is this going to cause a problem at the end of the season? I can't see this being a good thing. Anyone know what files not to copy over to prevent this problem? I tried restoring my old schedule.dat, but I got the same problem.
