GM upgrading

Hey everyone,
So I have been playing in the Liiga league as a greenhorn GM. I have had three straight years of having the best record, having insane success, and outplaying almost every team (unfortunately no championships though... yet).
Anyways still after having these amazing years I have not had any growth as a GM. I tried the go into Commisioner mode and resign and re-sign with the same team but no improvement.
Is this a bug or is the progression just that slow?

P.S. I did just up it myself in Commish mode because I wanted to be better but only moved myself up to a below average GM

Seen as nobody has answered I'll throw this in... I believe the reputation would be solely based on league/championship wins.

Very honest of you to just increase it by one level

That seems a little lame that you only go up if you win championships. I am 7 years in and have been the number one team 6 out of the 7 years (only not first on my first year where I didn't have control over my team really).

I have upgraded by coaching as well (pretty average no Babcock over here

)

I hope this is something that is fixed on the new patch coming out soon.

Although three straight 42 win seasons (in Liiga only 60 games played) I hope that after this year (last year of contract) I can resign/not re-sign (if the game doesn't automatically make me sign) and get into the AHL or something.

The whole owner goals, gm ratings, and new coaching ratings of v16 are, frankly, done extremely poorly.
