OOTP at work.............

How many of you do it???????

I just did it - big game between my Yanks and Redsox both tied atop the division - first game of a three game series late in september. Couldnt wait till I got home.................and I lost

On a separate note - whats the big deal about the new 3D? Am I missing something? I see no difference in my 3d stadiums. I feel stupid asking what this webp thing is about.

If there were such a thing as clutch, it would look like this.

WEBP is just a different image format, allowing OOTP to shrink the overall size of the installation. As far as I know there's nothing visually different about any of the 3D features.

I have played at work but with my job it's hard since I drive to various customers. When slow I will get it out

I love hold music, it is so calming..... not really, but it allows me to squeeze in an inning or nine!

I don't have the luxury of playing at work, but I do surf the forums....

Darn those real life responsibilities - don't people realize I have a dynasty to build!

I assume you're getting fewer responses than you expected, as most users are worried there's a 0.04% chance their boss plays and is browsing the forums, too.

Mostly just browse the forums. I find that when I bring my laptop to work, just to sneak in an hour at lunch, I can't resist the temptation and end up doing absolutely no work, and resenting every meeting and phone call because it's taking me away from OOTP. So I really don't do it that much at all. Maybe once every few months.

Every once in a while, I will work on logos and unis at work. They're somewhat less immersive and easier to step away from.

I can't play at work but I would if I could.

Also the "new" 3D isn't new. It's just a new image format to make the the game smaller. Not seeing anything different means it's working as intended.

I also play at work. They say that air traffic control is the most stressful job. But since I started playing OOTP at work my stress level has vanished!

Since I work from home I have always thought about playing while working, but I am afraid that a coworker might find out as I also post on the boards or read what is going on.

On a side note, my wife my turn me in as I get too involved in managing out my games so she might turn me in.

I'm a paramedic. When I have downtime I spend some time playing OOTPB on my laptop. It helps pass the time I love it!

Would not go well for long if I played at work. I tend to have aggressive outbursts with my comically decrepit sucker bunch.

But well, I tend to have aggressive outbursts after pretty much every phone call with my comically decrepit sucker clients as well.

No, I assume there aren't as many responses as there should because a certain segment of the OOTP fanbase doesn't want 3D in the game. They are like a kid in the candy store when it is apparent with each new iteration that 3D doesn't work. They're scared to death that 3D will mean the end of their beloved text sim. Yeah, the boss possibly playing the game is a big concern.
