Very annoying and cool experience

So I wanted a veteran fourth outfielder, and picked the aging Shane Victorino as my first choice. The price he was asking was a bit high, though, and it wasn't like there weren't other options, so I let the offseason run its course, and sure enough, his price started dropping as he sat on the market.

Eventually, about a week before spring training, I decided I needed to finally needed reel him in ... only to see that his price had stopped dropping and gone up, thanks to an offer from another team. Well screw that -- I'll look at the other candidates I had ... except that now they've all signed elsewhere. And then, in the first week of Spring Training, my starting RF breaks an ankle, (three months), and my IF/OF utility guy tears a PCL (season). Well, crap. I don't need a bench guy now, I need a starter.

And my jackass owner is expecting a .500 record this year -- he's already pissed at me because I didn't resign his pet players or satisfy his batting average fixation and I'm in the last year of my contract.

TLDR: I wind up signing the 37 year old Victorino, who I didn't want to give $6 million to, for $12 million because I waited too long, he was the only OF left on the market, and I was desperate. And two months into the season, the bastard is hitting .206.

This is annoying, frustrating ... and also utterly engrossing and realistic.

Mad props to the devs for making a game that pisses me off so much.
