So I Finally Bought the Game

I'm a baseball fan that's fairly knowledgeable, though not on the level of some here.

I will definitely be adding some mods to the game. Quick question though on mod compatibility ... is there a rule of thumb on which mods work with which versions of the game?

If I find a mod created in 2013 is it likely to play nice with OOTP 16?

If it's a graphical mod (logos, jerseys, that sort of thing) then it should work, as the formats haven't changed in a number of years.
