I'm tired of the drama!

I'm sure there is a way to turn it off and I may have to explore that ...

But I absolutely hate the stupid drama in the clubhouse every year. Not only do I get an e-mail every year that says "I can't stand this! Fix it!" But the I have to play Sherlock Holmes and try and figure out who the culprit is. Its annoying as hell.

I understand that things like this pop up from time to time with big league teams. But, I would think the manager deals with the vast majority of it (I'm GM only). If he cannot deal with it then, maybe, he goes to the GM. Regardless. I find it hard to believe that this much bickering and infighting goes on every season and nobody ever says who it is. Just fix it...

Couldn't you turn off storylines, personality etc. and rid yourself of these issues?

Who was the manager for the Blue Jays that was constantly challenging his own players to fist fights? You should hire him.

That's the thing, I don't even have that many players who could cause issues. In season one, I had Toby Harrah how was a "cancer to his teammates" so I dealt him in offseason. S2 was ok I guess. Now this year it's a riot again. The messages this year are about the bickering in the clubhouse but when you scroll through the player statuses they are all upset about "slackers". The only person I can see causing it is my C Johnny Oates. But o have nobody to replace him with. And why can't my controlling manager, Sparky Anderson, light a fire under his ass?

I made several trades on S1 to bring in "leaders" but what exact role do they play?

Maybe Sparky is a better manager for a talented team that can win. I've alresdy had to deal a few players that disk toile him and he can't put out a clubhouse fire for crap.

About once or twice a season you should get 1 possibly 2 emails about mood of team.

Since my last post (maybe 2 weeks of game time) I've received two more email a from payers. That's at least 5-6 on the season...

I turned this ridiculous option off halfway through the first season. There is a checkbox somewhere in the league settings that is self explanatory.
