No College / HS Statistics for Draftees

In the first year of a new quick start game, I made it to draft time and noticed that none of the draftees have their high school or college stats listed like they have had in past versions of the game.

Is this a bug?

It happened to me too in a fictional league i just created. I haven't made it to the second draft yet to see if they are there in year 2.

I've been through four drafts on my MLB Quickstart game and have only seen a handful of players with stats. I don't like that.

in a MLB Quickstart, at least, I know a TON of the draftees are real-life prospects put in by the roster team, so them not having stats makes sense. I'd think a fictional league would though, since those are game-generated players.

Most of the prospects throughout the first four years of the MLB quickstart games are real life players. Therefore, most do not have stats inputted. However, if you would like fictional players with stats, there is a workaround:

1. Set the draft pool to generate well in advance of the amateur draft.
2. When that draft pool of real players generates, go into the draft pool, and (in commisioner mode), mass select and delete all of the players. Reset the draft pool to generate again at some point before the amateur draft (I usually do a month before).
3. The new class will generate with fictional players complete with stats!

This is all true.

Many of the real life college players do have stats, and a select few HS players as well. We'll be adding more though as we're able.

Any reason why the same would happen in a fictional league though? It's happened to me this year and did last year as well.

Thanks

Not that I know of. That's weird.
