Tier System universe

It would be amazing if I could create a fictional baseball world where there's a tier system in each league/country, in which the best teams rise to the top(4-6 divisions). Then, based on the outcome of all those leagues, we would hold an annual champions league to determine the continental champion(32 teams). Finally, at the end of every year, we vote on the 'world player of the year.' Basically, I want my baseball universe to mimic the world of football(or what Americans call soccer - I'm American by the way - born in the USA, haha).

You are of course aware of the promotion/relegation options that OOTP provides, are you not?

Where are the promotion/relegation options? The only way that I know of to get something like this is if a quickstart has been made available, or if you want to make one of these leagues up yourself?

There isn't a dedicated P/R option as such although there are several work-arounds you can try...for example setting up graded independant leagues each with a lesser reputation,lower crowds and smaller financials,then moving teams manually at the end of the season as is appropiate to your set-up.

If someone set up a promotion/relegation game as a quickstart, I'd give it a go

You can do this, more or less, though you'll have to do the promotion/relegation manually.

Create howevermany leagues you want, and set them all at varying prestige levels. Then create an association to set up a playoff of champions. In the offseason, manually move teams up/down to promote/relegate.
