Owner Looking for a League

I figured with the pending release of Out of the Park 5, I throw an advertisment for myself out here on these boards. I currently own OOTP4, and, heck, I'm interested in getting back into playing in leagues. I want to be in an active league, where the results and updates are done on time. I want people to be active on the boards and on instant messenger, working out deals late into the night during trading deadline. I would love to write articles on my ballclub, top prospects, news around the league, and trade overviews. Most of all, I want to be competitive and get my hands dirty with owning a ball club.

So, anyways, just throwing that out there.

You sound like you would be a good addition to the upcoming league. I can let you know which teams are available if you are interested. Again, this will be a draft league. There is no website yet, but that is being made, and still time since the game and roster files aren't out yet.

I too am looking to join a league or two with the upcoming purchase of OOTP5. I do not have OOTP4 now but had it and am familiar with it. I have been involved with fantasy sports since 1984 when the first Rotisserie League Baseball Book was released and started fantasy sports. In 1984 I became commissioner of The Garden State American league - One of the first sanctioned leagues of The Rotisserie League Baseball Association. Since then I have been commissioner of Leagues every year (currently "Whose League Is It Anyway??" which is being run out of allstarstats.com) - Now starting my 20th year. I was in over 12 leagues of various sports in 2002 winning 4 of them. But I truly believe that winning is only part of it. Honesty - Dedication - Involvement and just plain having fun are the main parts of being in a league. Also, the commissioners owe it to all members of the league to run it fair and acurately and timely for the league to succeed. I am currently looking for a OOTP5 league and would like to join a few if there is room available. Please email me at :
