Owner Goals in GM Mode

When I imported my fictional league from OOTP15, my "new" owner issued out a set of goals. Ho-hum, no big deal. He's supposed to do that.

One of those goals was to extend the current 3B, who was set to become a FA at the end of the following season. Since said 3B was old and I had the top prospect in baseball ready to replace him, I instead dealt him at the trade deadline for an absolutely silly haul of prospects and draft picks, which had been my plan all along.

Needless to say, my owner was relatively miffed at this decision, although since my team was winning the division, he didn't fire me on the spot or anything.

The offseason comes, and obviously, I failed the goal of "extend your 3B".
However, this is where it gets weird. Since I'd initially had 2 years to meet the goal, it stayed on my goals list, even though the 3B wasn't on my roster any more. Then, the following offseason, the owner got mad at me for failing the goal again.

Obviously, I failed the goal, but I don't think owners should be dinging you twice for failing the goal. Once the player wasn't on my roster any longer, how am I supposed to extend him?

That should be fixed in the patch that went out today. If you've upgraded to the latest and that's not the case, let me know and I can have another look through to make sure.

It expired off my goal list sometime yesterday when I hit the next offseason (which was when the goal was supposed to expire on its own), didn't know this had made it into patch for today.
