Any additions to the list of pitches, or the ability to call pitches?

I play out every game and am hoping to be able to call pitches at some point. I've been looking for that in a baseball sim since, oh, about 1987.

I'd also like to see additional pitches (palmball, etc.) added for the sake of maximum accuracy. Will this be coming with this version?

It would be awesome to have more types of pitches in the game!

I think Baseball Mogul allows you to call pitches but the game is much more inferior to OOTP.

Calling pitches could be a huge exploit unless the game engine has a very sensitive method of punishing a human player from calling for the same pitch all the time. The only way to make this even close to realistic would be a corresponding "look for x pitch" response from batters that would result in many more hits and HR. If the human player does not use most of the SP's repertoire of pitches the AI should reduce the effectiveness of overused pitches on a sliding scale by the second time through the order.

Not against the idea but not convinced that calling pitches with no consequences is realistic in the current state of the game.

Also the Fastball should be split into 4-seam 2-seam, and running FB.
