A few questions

1. is it 64 bit?
2. How will mlb players be represented. Will there be official photos or facegens, or both? I prefer facegens to match the fictional leagues.
3. Will we be able to add our own MLB logos and jerseys?
4. is the arizona fall league supported?
5. Will it still be possible for mlb expansion
6. will it still be possible to rename/relocate teams(major or minor league)

I guess my main question is how much customization do we get if we are running an MLB save?

1. It is on Mac and Linux. For PC it does not make much sense unless we code it to properly use multi-threading.
2. MLB players will have no photos in the version we ship, like in the past. We do not have a MLBPA license.
3. The game is as moddable as before.
4. No.
5. Sure.
6. Of course.

For historical leagues, will players still be generated based on their MLB debut? Or pro debut?

Having MiLB licenses, will this allow us, when starting historical leagues (70's, 80's, more recent) to have actual minor league affiliates already named and properly attached, so no more re-naming/replacing all the affiliates when starting historical?

another question,

If we import an MLB game from '15, will the game recognize it as being an MLB game?

I'd love to see you guys look at changing that in later versions. I've used mod databases before, but you get weird things like Cecil Fielder playing CF.

Markus, this would be huge for historical play. Can you do it?

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.

Well, we needed to create a database which is compatible with the game structure. Can we do it? Sure. Is it worth the massive amount of time needed? No, not unless we grow and have more developers. So tell all your friends to buy OOTP 16 and it'll eventually happen.

"30 MLB team logos and jerseys, over 150 MiLB team logos, and even historical MLB logos!"

Does this mean that minor league jerseys/caps are not going to be included?

If we have the time to create them, yes. But this is tons of work and our graphics designer Daniela has already so much to do, we're not sure if we'll ship them with the initial release.

We did not add new positions, no. We felt they would just add more micro-management and no real additional fun factor.

What if we, the users, did it? If we put the database together, would you implement it?

I ask this because I already have most of that data in a spreadsheet.

I am sure the number of us that play historical would even beta test it before it hit the general public.
