Season ends but playoffs don't begin

I've noticed this in two of my international leagues, where the regular season is complete and then the playoffs never start. This happened in the CPBL and a custom league, and it seems to stay at this point. Both of these leagues did have ties for the final playoff spot in a custom playoff setting.

Sidenote: I've also noticed where a league has never started its new season. Is there something causing this?

If you have playoff roster rules, this may create a hangup during the season as the AI won't get the memo and set up a playoff roster. Also, custom leagues that are started mid season, or with a weird schedule, can just hang up on you for no reason; they never generated a schedule. Your best bet is to save the setup as a template, delete the game, start over from scratch; be sure the game setup is complete before starting again.

I have had the problem where Spring Training won't end. When I tried for tech support they said it is a rare thing and they don't know why it happened and there was nothing they could do to fix it.

That was back in OOTP13.

This is actually the CPBL in OOTP15 that is doing it.
