2014 Opening day rosters but only import stats from 2000

Hey all,

Setting up a league and I have a question on importing historical stats. I am starting a new league with opening day rosters of this year 2014. However, I want my league stats history to start from the year 2000. As if the league didn't start keeping stats till 2000.

Digging around forums I know its been asked, but no exact luck yet.

Thanks in advance.

Export the stats from your league menu.

Change the resulting player_batting_stats, player_fielding_stats and player_pitching_stats files to .csv format.

Open in excel/oo.

Sort stats by year.

Delete whatever years you don't want. Save.

Change the files back to .txt

Go to your league menu in game and import stats.

You'll be all set!

I just tried this method. Exported, edited files and imported. Got the message it was complete. However, when I go to career leaders, I am still seeing guys from before the year 2000.

Yeah sorry, wasn't thinking it through well enough. Those stats would stay in the game.

Try using the same process, but instead of deleting, try overwriting all the pre 2000 stats with '0' for all stats.
