40 Man Rosters before opening day?
When I start some leagues,all teams have a 40 man roster all the way up to opening day,then change to 25 man(or whatever the roster limit is until Sept 1st) and then other leagues I start only have 28 man(or whatever the roster limit is set until Sept. 1st) roster until opening day.
Why the difference? |

What are the other leagues? Are they minors? Are they independent?
What are the league settings for roster size? Do the teams have enough players to bring 40 up? Lots of reasons why it could be happening, need details on league setups. Can't diagnose problems without symptoms.

All Leagues have 40 man rosters.
All teams have reserve players. Regular season (till Sept 1st) vary from 25 to 28 and 30 players,but rosters expand to 40 on Sept. 1st. No minor league affliations.Minor Leagues are independent from the Major Leagues. |

It's user selectable. The human player can set whatever roster sizes and calendar changes they want.
Reads like you are seeing differences between major and minor leagues. More info needed. A screenshot would help.

This reminds me, AI teams should be setting their 25-man rosters the day BEFORE Opening Day... but sometimes that isn't happening for whatever reason. Related to the OP's issue?
