Playoff Incentive in Contract Negotiations?

I have a suggestion for contracts. It seems like a new incentive could be added for if the team goes to the playoffs. People could value it more highly based on personality, age (older people want to go out with a bang), and whether they think your team has a shot at the playoffs. (However, in no circumstance should it be valued more than the actual monetary amount that could be given for the bonus.)

Just a random thought from the peanut gallery! Not sure if this is something typical for baseball contracts, but it would give another area of incentive in negotiations.

There should at least be a toggle if this is implemented... not sure whether this is allowed IRL.
