Generate High School Info For Every US Player

I love to follow a player who went to a nearby high school. I've even had one player that went to my high school. But high school information is only given on those players who are eligible to be drafted from high school. Besides "born in" information, which is really "hometown" information, since most towns and cities and villages do not have a hospital in them, why not list a high school for every player?

it would mess up fictional worlds that have custom high schools. I prefer it to show no high school than show schools that weren't in my game.

Plus the "fictional" high schools the game creates aren't real high schools anyway it's just a city name with high school behind it. Any city in the game's system can be a high school regardless if that city actually has a high school or not.

That's only true for feeder leagues, but for game generated players there's a pretty darn complete schools db with real HS's and colleges that the game assigns to players in the draft pool.

Where does it show this? I'm looking at the draft pool right now and I don't see any player listed with a high school or college.

No, the real players don't have them listed. We've been bugging Markus and Andreas to let us have the functionality to add that to the real guys for a while and it'll happen soon.

But if you generate a fictional draft class in game, in any league, the generated players will all have real colleges and highschools listed

I get for fictional players I'm sitting a the draft for my year and I don't see any high schools or colleges listed anywhere. Where on the player screen does it show where they went to high school.

It's on the player profile screen, it says something like "eligible from: College (Alabama)"

Maybe I should have stated that the league is fictional. In the draft pool for the June amateur draft, it will list a high school or college. But the college guys don't have their high school listed. I think this will be cool.

As an aside, my league just received its first deaf player.

Seriously guys I'm not seeing it anywhere. can you post a screen shot of where it says the school? All I see is eligible from college or eligible from high school it doesn't show a specific school.

Cool on the deaf player. I had one in a test league. He was actually really really good. Would have made the HOF had I played it long enough.
