I've Hit A Wall

I'm trying to create an association with two existing leagues but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. The "Create Association" option isn'tselectable no matter what I do. I've simmed both leagues to the same date: Oct, 5th 1989. Each league plays under the same rules, I've triple checked this. The only differnce is one league allows free agency and the other doesn't. Is this possible? Can someone help?

Most likely you need to be in the pre-season to make the changes.

Try simming to the beginning of pre-season, then try creating the Association.

Both leagues has to be a major league I believe otherwise you can't add the to the association.

I am bit confused.....You say you've simmed both leagues to the same date? So you are simming them separately? Are they in different "leagues"(game world) at the game level (ie; you load one or the other)?

You can only associate leagues in the same game.

I feel really dumb. This is definitely the problem. I created anothet game for my second league. Thanks guys.

So I was able to add another major league to my current game and create the association. I'm trying to keep the reserve clause in one league and allow free agency in the other. No problems during the test sim until it was time for free agents to file. The game froze and in doing so also corrupted the file. I have everything backed up so that crash was harmless. My question is: Is it possible for each league to have different free agency rules?
