2013 and 2014 on old computer, 2015 to be on laptop---how to?
I have enjoyed my OOTP 2013 and 2014 but still consider myself a rookie in the world of OOTP. I would like to purchase OOTP 2015 during the World Series special. On a budget with a kid in college, knowhutImean?
2013 and 2014 are on my desktop computer and I would like to add 2015 to my new laptop. I have games in progress (one in mid-draft) in 2013 and 2014. Here is/are my question(s)-- 1. If I install 2015 on my laptop, is there an easy way to move my active games from 2013 and 2014 from my desktop to my laptop?, or, 2. Should I download 2015 to the desktop, move my existing games to 2015, and then somehow copy 2015 from the desktop to the laptop? I want to be more flexible with where and when I can play and I really don't want to have to redo the tedious process of recreating the games I have going now! Thanks! |

1. Install 15 on your desktop and laptop
2. Open 14, import/convert 13 lgs to 14 on desktop 3 Open 15, import/convert 14 lgs (original 14's and converted 13's from step 2) on desktop 4. Copy/save 15's lgs on desktop saved_games folder to some type of external drive 5 Copy saves from 4 to saved-games folder on 15 6 Start playin 15 on laptop If you are happy with converted lgs in 15 then Unlicense/uninstall 15 on your desktop so in case of emergency you have an available license (you have 2) for 15 Going from memory thats what I did and it worked (been a few months ago so I may have missed a detail or 2)
