basic gameplay and set up ???
This past spring, I tried the Demo before v15 came out. The game play was fun, but it wasn't the easiest of set ups. OOTPco helped me a lot. I have to admit I couldn't have done it w/o them. I finally have time to get back to computer baseball now that fall is here.
I have a Mac. All the other games require a PC and I really don't need a PC, other than to play baseball if this game doesn't work for me. I know I can put parallels, Win 8.1, etc on my Mac, but again, I'm not a fanboy of any game out there. OOTP does look like a great game, But, is v15 easier to set up. The price sure is cheaper than parallels, Win 8, a cd/dvd drive to install the software, etc, etc. My basic desire is to play historical team A, like say the '62 Giants vs historical team B, the '2012 Giants in a series. Nothing fancy. No negotiations, no labor trouble, etc. Just want to replay "team vs team." Stock/historical teams, no drafting, no putting Koufax onto the '62 Giants to see "what if.." I think you get the idea. Is this doable w/o a Masters degree, in computer science, and/or in OOTP baseball?? I remember during the demo I lost players due to labor issues, some other unrecoverable issues too. Thx for any help here. Frank |

Not sure about ootp having actual Labour issues but I will say that what you are asking for will take a little bit of work but honestly, not too much.

Can you expand on labour issues? I never have pains in that area.

If I remember exactly, one of the players didn't want to play because of a contract dispute. I don't remember all the details it was this past spring.

That seems like a storyline. I have to say that's one not known to me. Turn storylines off if you don't like it.
