I decided to depart from the method I used for the ALCS and NLCS and sim the World Series 5 times and compile the results.
My latest blog post gets into all the details: This World Series Could Be Too Close to Call, But We?re Calling it For the Royals |

Did you have to sim out the entire season? Were you able to custom select the playoff teams? Was it just going into the schedule editor and setting up exhibition games? |

I set the teams up and then used the Simulation Module to schedule 7-game series between the teams. Unfortunately, I couldn't view the box scores of the game (that's a known bug, according to Markus), but doing so gave me lots of stats to use and get a big picture view.
BTW, there are tons of stats in this Google Doc: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...B5APHTqXiUC7E/ |

Cool... Thanks for the info! And the explanation! Good stuff!!
I really wish there could be a quick series or quick playoff feature in OOTP. One where you could take any team or teams you wish and set up a dream world series or playoff series that you could actually manage! Sadly, I don't think Marcus is keen on adding a feature like that ![]() |
