Building a new stadium
If you are deep into a franchise, it would be cool to be able to build a new stadium once in a while. I wouldn't get too crazy with it, just several modular pieces that could be slapped together in your preferred setup. Want a cavernous outfield with a green monster and no room in foul ground? You got it. How about a band box with a city skyline view or a retractable roof with a pool?
If you really want to get creative, you could make the player have to take money of his budget to pay for it for the next 20 years. You could also sell naming rights to fictional companies to help offset the cost. Each modular section could have a cost attached to it...the fancier the section, the more it costs. Remember how I said not to get too crazy with it?

I'd even be happy with a button that says something like 'request new stadium' and if it gets accepted you get 'Generic Stadium' built that is bigger and more upto date.
Going with stadiums what about some times getting their stadiums sponsored as another form of income? Obviously not the player scrolling through potential sponsors just a message could say 'we've secured a new sponsorship deal on the ball park worth X $$ for X years' |

In real life, outside of a few exceptions, this only brings in a few million per year for a major league ball club, which is a tiny percentage of its income. Its main effect is to give stadiums corporate names.
