Fan vote for new Maryland Bridegrooms team nickname
My club in the fantastic AFBL online league (link in signature) has been a laughing stock for years, not just because of our record, but also because of the "early era baseball" team nickname. If you would be so kind as to make a vote as to the new nickname (or if you think the 'Grooms should keep the name) I would appreciate it. I intend to start updating here about the plights of this club. Apologies if this is the wrong forum to post this poll, but it might be a nice way to introduce the club.
EDIT: By the way, the original name of the club was the California Golden Eagles, but they became the Bridegrooms when they moved to Maryland. Last edited by thehatfield; 07-27-2014 at 09:26 PM. Reason: explaining one of the choices |

I'm intrigued by the team name "Bacon Jackals." Where did that name come from and why does it sound so awesome?

"Bacon Jackals" are up here by a vote. On the AFBL forums "Grinders" has a one vote lead. Will leave this open for a couple more days and see where we're at.
