So in other words, you wanna sim games using a league's files.

Couldn't you just get the password from the commish, explaining what you'd like to do. Take care of business. Let the commish change the password, and everybody goes there merry way? Seems kinda simple if I understand your quesiton the right way.

Well what I did was delete all the free agents. Then release the futures players into the FA pile, and then sign them to the given team that they will play for the futures game. Then run an exhibition game for the game.
The NBSL has had a futures game since 2003 I believe and 2 years back it was switched to a futures series, so I can get more SP's significant action. The NBSL plays a 3 game set over the all star break, for the futures series. |

Well, I wouldnt feel comfortable asking the commish for the league password. If i had it i could cheat like sim ahead to see how prospects do etc (however i wouldnt cheat, but i wouldnt expect the commish to take the chance).. If i was the commish i surely wouldnt give it out. Could i just create a whole new league and use the ratings and stuff for the Prospects?

so you can sim ahead and see how the specs do. Too bad it will be different everytime. The league isnt destined for the same course.

It seemed to work, but i didnt see like 9 players out of the 50. Also in the league im doing a futures game for we did a fantasy draft, but when i changed the players.dat the players went on the team that they are on in MLB
