quite a few improvements for ootp16

First of all, I would like to say that with OOTP and the upcoming football game from this company, I may never play an actual video game ever again. That said, there is still room to improve the quality of future versions of this game. Here is what I'm hoping for:

1) There is an option regarding injury frequency, so how about another one for injury severity? It seems that I'm using the 60-day DL more than the 15-day at the ML level.

2) Improve trade logic - MLB: The Show (at least when I played it many years ago) had the option of clicking boxes regarding certain positions the user wanted in a trade. I would like the same option with this game. I have enough MR, thank you very much.

3) Force start at a certain position? Why not also force start at a certain spot in the lineup?

4) Shouldn't market size/monetary resources determine budget, not the other way around?

5) Improve finances - the game starts in 2014 with $25 mil. national media revenue and $25 mil. local media revenue. It seems that both figures are cut in half for 2015 for no reason. How about giving the option of multi-year media deals with a single mouse click? I know that there is a way around this, but it takes much more time than it should.

6) Make it easier to control multiple teams at the same time. It takes three clicks to "act as" another team, five clicks to switch active mangers. It would be much easier if the game could be set up to allow a one-click option from the side menu to switch teams. Even if the game would still require multiple active managers if multiple teams are controlled, it would be easier (much less time-consuming) if all messages are sent into the same e-mail account.

Less important options
7) I hate to admit it, but I've had more fun with this game starting in 2014 than I've had with the historical simulation aspect of it. I thought it would be the other way around, as I was really looking forward to fixing history when I acquired this game. Is there any way in which this could be improved? For the sake of full disclosure, I've only used the default db, some PCL mod, and gambospritez db for ootp2014, but I'm still left feeling disappointed with the results of all three. The default db just seems weird with not having access to the players until the year in which they made their debut in real life. The user-created db's require way too much work in order to get things sorted out before even simulating one day. Would there be a way for future versions of the game to do more checks on user-created db's to better determine where a player should go? For example, allow the database to have yes/no options for 40-man roster, major/minor leagues (with minor leaguers going to the reserve roster if the user is not using minor leagues). It is frustrating to see the game wanting to put 18-year-old high schoolers with a 6 CON potential rating onto the active roster, and then the player having a morale problem when he is not on the roster.

If the developers actually do read this message, I would like to say that I really have enjoyed playing this game over the last two months. It's just that I've played it so much that I see places where it could be improved. Thank you.

#2 Or at the very least, allow us to sort! almost every other screen allows us to sort players, why not here?

#3 along the lines of this suggestion, the game allows you to "set position" for a player but there has been a few times when i wished i could set a secondary position for a player.

You should be able to mess around with the injury frequency feature to figure out what makes the most sense for your league.

You can never have too many MR

I love the idea of having a guy forced at a spot in the lineup or even rotation. It would help if you're just playing the "GM mode" and taking the hands off approach, allowing the coaches to do a lot of the pitching spots/lineups.

You can definitely toggle with the finances to meet your standards. I'd look a little closer into that if I were you.
