Mound Lowered

I forgot to uncheck the league evolution option with my league, and the mound has been lowered for the upcoming season - anyway I can manually change that back? Is there a "more/less hitting" option I can toggle?

What you need is a wheel-barrow full of dirt......

Check the League Stats&AI setup page and push the button that say "Restore Defaults", unless you weren't running the with the default setup to begin with.

Uncheck league evolution? New to the game & not sure I remember that... Do most recommend doing that?

I don't like the idea of mound being lowered...

I always uncheck it. If I want a change to the league I'll do it myself. I don't like giving up control of my league to a RNG.

On the other hand, I can totally see why some people like it. The surprise and unpredictability and all that. Me? I'm too anal-retentive.

This happened early on in my dynasty.

I'm assuming this is why there are like 30+ full-time players hitting .310 or more every season?

I always, always uncheck it. There are some individual items that don't see too bad, but I have too many Madden memories of that kind of feature, where after one season Washington moves to become the San Antonio Rhinos

Yeah, I leave league evolution on for the surprise factor. So far, I've played 10 seasons with no changes to the league beyond the scheduled CBA changes.

I'm not sure if what I'm about to say will make sense, but I've always wished the more or less offense option would simply work like the subtle changes we see occur over time. For example, the changes that occurred from 1970-79 or 80-89.

For most leagues excluding my EBL vs MLb league i leave league evolution on. I prefer it. Even if the White Sox were to become the Paw Paw white Sox i would leave it on. Would be nice if we could have the mound raised or lowered if we choose to that you could veto the proposed change as league Commish.

Is this the section that has the league totals and modifiers, like Starting Pitcher stamina, Groundball Percentage, etc...?

Looks like all the defaults set everything back to 1.000?

Correct.

It will also reset the totals, if those have changed.

I wish an entry would get automatically added to the league evolution if you make changes

Too bad there isn't an option on how much evolution there would be.

On the other hand, I would like an option for me to win the World Series every year.
