Couple of historical replay questions

1. If I start in 1990, when the game reaches the current season, can I continue or does the game stop there as its no longer considered historical replay?

2. For a 1990 start, is there a mod somewhere to have proper minor leagues as they were back then?

You can continue it would not stop in 2014. As for the second question I'd be gobsmacked if someone has done the players for the minors in 1990, the team names maybe, if not they are available online I believe on baseball cube website.
