No because it could be an exploit. If you were to manipulate a 4 pitch pitcher into throwing only fastballs I'm not sure the game engine could respond in the same way as it would if you started a one pitch pitcher. In the latter case the pitcher may have initial success but eventually the hitters would get the timing down in-game and knock him around. OOTP is consistent with RL baseball in this way. So as I said it seems to me that the game engine would not be able to "see" the manipulation of a multi-pitch pitcher in game, so it could not apply suitable consequences.

I hope some one corrects this if it is nonsense.
