OOTP Overwrote My Entire League's Player Pictures. Why?

I created three new independent minor leagues for my dynasty, but for whatever reason, when I ran the league forward to pre-season, it created all new pictures for all my players in the major leagues of my dynasty. This creates a problem because I have posted pictures of the same guys multiple times, and now their pictures are all different from the pictures I posted of them before. The frustrating thing is that I'm pretty sure I did not change the picture settings for the dynasty.

I kept the .dat files from before I added the leagues, and I also have the .dat files from after I added the leagues. They both start on 12/31/1909. When I run the .dat files today from before I added the three new minor leagues (pre-add), the pictures do not update, but when I run the .dat files from after I added the leagues (post-add), they do update.

Maybe I'm missing something, but they look identical to me.

Does anyone recognize this issue? Why would the pre-add .dat files not generate the new pictures, but the post-add .dat files generate them, even though they are working off the same picture settings? What am I missing here?

The post creation dats (the problem ones) is listed first, the pre creation dats second.

Are you using real players or fictional? If you're using fictional you don't want the PhotoFit(facegen) box checked. That's for real photos that have been converted to facegen.

I also check the box above it for auto loading.

So as a shot in the dark I suspect that maybe you are using fictional and something in the way pictures as saved (i.e. real players go by name and fictional players are numbered) combined with your settings caused the league expansion to look at the photos again and update them


Edit: also as every one always says BEFORE CHANGING YOUR LEAGUE CREATE A BACKUP SO YOU CAN GO BACK IF NEEDED

OK, I will give this another look. I have been trying to avoid having pictures of real major league players applied to my fictional players just because they have the same names.
