Negro Leagues
I'm new to the forum and OOTP Baseball.
I play strat-o-matic baseball and was wondering if there was a way to import negro leaguers into the game and if there is how to do I do that? I have Spritze's DB but I can't figure out how to get the Negro Leaguers into the game. ![]() |

You'll need to go to free agents and import historical players.
From there you need to choose the database that you downloaded from spritze and then you will be prompted to enter the lahman ID of the player you're searching for along with some other information. If you are unsure of the lahman ID of a player search for them on baseball reference. Oscar Charleston Recognition Page - Baseball-Reference.com that is Oscar Charleston's page, the "charlos99" is his ID. |

The Spritze database has nothing to do with BaseballReference.
The ID is actually found in the master.csv found in the OOTP15 Stats folder.

IMO easiest way would be to make a simple text file of the ones you want to import and then import them all at once...
The text file needs to be like this, player id,season year Leave no space after the comma... ruthba01,1920 Attached is a copy of one I did for a Negro League I started in 1920... |
