No All Star Break?

Has anyone else run into there being no All Star Break? It's 2015 in my franchise. I play every game for my Cubs. All the teams have a scheduled game on July 14, which is the day of the All Star Game.

There is a break, but the game is not scheduled during the break. I deleted the game on the 14th, but now I have no way to add an ASG, because the AL and NL all star teams don't appear in the drop down.

Without an all star game, who will have home field during the WS?

Has anyone run into this? Does it ruin the playoffs (WS home field)? Has anyone added an ASG, and if so how do you select the all star teams?

From what I recall in earlier versions, this usually happened when importing a schedule file and the schedule settings made in the game didn't agree with what was specified in the header of the schedule file itself.

Can you post exactly what schedule settings you have set within OOTP? Did you import a schedule file at any point?

I didn't import any schedules. It is the second year of a game started in OOTP 15 with "New Standard Game".

I didn't change any schedule settings. The only Schedule option on the options screen is "Edit League Schedule". I never edited it before removing the All Star game on July 14.

Use custom playoffs is checked.

It's because the standard game is set up in 2014 to have the early Australia games (which is realistic). What happens when you move forward is the game continues to create an early game (or two) a week or so before the rest of the teams have their opening day; the problem is the game puts this "Australia" game on April 1st, therefore pushing the real opening day until second week of April (or sometimes later). This therefore pushes all games forward and as a result the All-Star game happens on it's correct day, but the All-Star break has been pushed back. So you'll see a three day All Star break gap a week or so after the All Star break. If you're already in season I wouldn't delete the ASG, just move games the three days around the ASG to the gap in the week or two after.

I already deleted the ASG thinking I could reschedule it for during the break.

Deleting the ASG didn't ruin the post season. I simmed the year. The home field went to the league that won home field in 2014, which was wrong in 2015, but at least the WS took place.

The problem is that this repeats every year. I am not going to reschedule all these games every season. I hope they fix it, or I will have to request a refund.

While I agree that this should be fixed, it's really easy to just fix it yourself by loading in a custom schedule; I just use gmo's Rotating Interleague Schedules. You can have the game load each one in order every season, or just pick a random one. Or stick with one if you don't care about rotating matchups. It's not perfectly MLB, but it's close enough for me.

I had this in OOTP14, after I deleted the manual all star selection date, the ASG never scheduled any year after that.

Same file, updated to OOTP15, and it seems to be fixed. I had to delete the schedule and recreate in pre-season, then it was scheduled again.
